Who We Are
AgHedgers is a full service professional brokerage offering commentary, outlook and analysis to assist agricultural clients in making sound marketing decisions. We know that grain and livestock production is only half the battle. You can produce it, and you are the world’s best….but are you equally as good marketing what you have produced? We know farming, we know the tools that are needed to market effectively and we have the experience you need.
LONG TERM RELATIONSHIPS
We look to build long term relationships with our clients built on trust and integrity. We understand that our success depends on our clients and their prosperity in the marketplace. Our “boots on the ground” experience, coupled with fundamental and technical research and analysis of cash and futures markets makes AgHedgers a farmer friendly choice to meet your brokerage needs.

A TRUSTED PARTNER
The first-hand experience with agricultural and financial markets has worked with AgHedgers combined foresight, ingenuity and expertise to make it the successful firm that it is today. AgHedgers goal is to provide its customers the expertise and service they need to grow their agricultural businesses.
After spending 13 years working for one of the nation’s leading agricultural risk-management companies in Chicago, Jeff French founded AgHedgers in 2020. He wanted to own his own commodity brokerage business which would allow him to work with each client individually. He founded AgHedgers so he could bring the business back to the family farm in Wiota,IA. AgHedgers has clients all over the country.
Corn, soybean , and wheat growers are inherently long the market. Our approach to grain marketing involves aggressive risk management in “up” markets, and basis/spread management during “down” markets.
AgHedgers works with operations of all sizes and traders of all skill levels. Our most simple strategies involve simply purchasing PUT options while our more advanced strategies involve straight futures positions and option spreads.
